As Christians, we believe prayer is a vital component to all we seek to do. Water, sanitation and hygiene projects are no exception. Please join us in praying for the communities we work in. Current communities where we are working include:

  • In the Andes Mountians – Lirio San Gonzalo, Sul Sul, Cajabamba
  • In the Coastal Lowlands – San Gregorio, San Jose, La Union, San Lorenzo, Esmeraldas
  • In the Ecuadorian Amazon - Paantin, Iniayua Norte, Yuwints

There are short and long term opportunities to serve. Come and be a part of what we are doing! Working visitors may serve from a few weeks to several years, and career missionaries for longer terms. If you have the following skills we would like to hear from you:

  • civil/environmental/water engineers to design water systems and oversee construction
  • nurses to do health/hygiene teaching
  • water professionals to teach seminars and do follow-up work
  • well drillers

Student interns and placements

Are you a student engineer or water professional? Student placement and intern programs are available to adapt your skills for serving in third world countries with appropriate communication of the gospel message. The summer intern program enables students to acquaint themselves with the ministry for a period of 9 weeks each summer. If you are a student in the following areas we would like to hear from you:

  • civil/environmental/water engineers to design water systems and oversee construction
  • nurses to do health/hygiene teaching
  • water professionals to teach seminars and do follow-up work
  • well drillers

Phil Hittepole - Phil is an engineer who recently recieved his masters in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech, and is working with Clean Water Projects until late June '07.

Will Krzymowski - Will recently graduated from Calvin College with a degree in studio art. He plans on going to graduate school for architecture and development. He worked in Clean Water Projects from January to mid May of '07.
